It is with heavy hearts that we report that Beverly Fenerty-McKibbon passed away September 4.

As a founding member of Clergy Support Memorial Church, she was involved in developing the first training materials for our clergy, as well as sitting on the board, and assisting with special projects.

Bev had a varied and successful career in management with Canada Post before retiring. She held a BA from Laurentian and an MBA from Athabasca University in Alberta.

She was heavily involved in social justice projects and particularly the Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign in support of the Stephen Lewis Foundation’s work on the AIDS crisis in Africa. She was involved at both the local and national levels, co-ordinating everything from lobbying on Parliament Hill to bake sales.

There was a celebration of life held on September 12 and you can find the full obituary here.
